🫀 Hands-On Learning in Action!
AHP students wrapped up their Cardiovascular Unit by designing and building models of the human heart using only paper, tape, straws, and a balloon! Creativity and problem-solving were on full display as students brought their learning to life.
💡 Fun facts they discovered this week:
• The average adult heart weighs between 7–15 ounces
• Your heart beats approximately every 0.8 seconds
• The worst thing you can do for your heart? Not exercise!!
Great work, future scientists! ❤️ #STEM #HandsOnLearning #HeartHealth

🔨✨ AMP Epoxy Pour Name Projects ✨🔨
Our students brought creativity and craftsmanship together in this hands-on project! Using the CNC machine, they precisely pocketed their wood pieces before carefully sanding and staining them to perfection.
Next came the fun part—filling those pockets with vibrant, colored epoxy to make their names pop! 🎨 After curing, students completed a final sanding and finish, revealing some truly eye-catching designs.
This project combined technology, design, and craftsmanship—and the results speak for themselves. Great work, AMP students! 👏

🎨✨ Color Theory in Action! ✨🎨
Students at CCTC in Mrs. Hall’s Cosmetology class have been hard at work creating color wheel projects to strengthen their understanding of the Law of Color and how it applies to professional hair coloring.
By exploring how primary, secondary, and complementary colors interact, students are learning how color theory helps cosmetologists formulate, correct, and enhance hair color results for clients. These hands-on projects help connect classroom learning to real-world salon skills! 💇♀️💇♂️
Great job to these future beauty professionals for bringing color theory to life! 🌈👏

Thank you to the Caroline County Council of the Arts for their generous $2,000 donation supporting the CCTC AMP and Construction Programs!
Earlier this year, our talented students put their skills to work by creating hundreds of toy kits for children to assemble and paint during the Council of the Arts Santa Workshop event. The creativity, craftsmanship, and teamwork our students demonstrated helped bring holiday joy to so many families in our community.
We’re grateful for this partnership and for the continued support of programs that allow students to learn, create, and give back. ❤️🔨
