Students at CCTC in Mrs. Hall’s Cosmetology class have been hard at work creating color wheel projects to strengthen their understanding of the Law of Color and how it applies to professional hair coloring.
By exploring how primary, secondary, and complementary colors interact, students are learning how color theory helps cosmetologists formulate, correct, and enhance hair color results for clients. These hands-on projects help connect classroom learning to real-world salon skills! 💇♀️💇♂️

Due to the impact of the snowstorm, schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Offices will open at 9:00 am.

*Friday, February 6: Now a half day for students and a full day for staff
*Monday, February 16 (Presidents Day): Now a full day for students and staff
*Monday, March 16: Now a full day for students and staff
These adjustments were made due to the recent inclement weather days used, and in an effort to avoid extending the school year. With these changes, and if no further inclement weather days are used, the last day of school for students remains June 17, 2025 (half-day).
Please note: Friday, February 6 is a newly scheduled half day for students.
Please NOTE: Families within the town limits of Ridgely and Hillsboro - Transportation is currently working to reroute some bus stops in these two areas. Please expect a call this evening from your bus driver or the department with information on temporary bus stop locations. Thank you for your patience.
